Today is World Lion Day, and Friends of Animals is asking you to celebrate by becoming a member if you aren't already, or by making a donation today to bolster our efforts to get Cecil's Law passed in Connecticut and New York next year and to introduce in other key states that are hubs for the "trophies" of lions entering the United States. Cecil's Law, named after the African lion who lived on a wildlife refuge in Zimbabwe and was lured from the protected park, shot and killed by American trophy hunter Walter Palmer, was drafted by Friends of Animals. ......
