[The Herald] A Harare man who reportedly fondled his neighbour's minor niece before offering her U.S.$1 to silence her, appeared before a Harare magistrate yesterday. The 30-year-old man from Ruwa appeared before magistrate Mr Vakai Chikwekwe facing indecent assault charges. Washington Nyamute was remanded out of custody to July 11 on a $100 bail. As part of his bail conditions, he was ordered to report to the police every Friday, reside at his given address, surrender his passport and not to interfere with witnesses. ......
