A 26-year-old student in the United Kingdom has become the first person to be convicted for using a 3D-printer to manufacture a gun on Wednesday, according to The Telegraph. Tendai Muswere pleaded guilty at Southwark crown court on Wednesday to the charge of manufacturing a 3D printed gun. Police obtained a drug warrant in 2017 to access Muswere's residence in Pimlico in central London where they found components of a 3D-printed gun. Muswere, a student who does not hold a firearms licence said he printed the firearm for filming a student project at the university, but later refused to comment what the film project was about.
